Those details decide cabinet depths, lighting layers, and whether a wall can move without creating a new problem elsewhere.
Materials are selected for the way the room works, not only the way it photographs. Worktops need heat and stain resistance. Floors need to forgive dropped pans. Paint sheens should wipe clean near cooking zones. We present two or three coherent finish packages so you can compare cost and maintenance without drowning in isolated samples.
Hidden repairs are named before demolition whenever they can be seen. Soft subfloors, tired valves, and undersized ventilation are not “extras” invented later; they are part of making the finished room reliable. If something unexpected appears once walls are open, you receive a photograph, an explanation, and a choice before we proceed.
Installation follows a written sequence: protection, demolition, rough-in, inspection of substrates, finish carpentry, surfaces, and punch list. Each stage has a tidy close-out so the rest of the house remains livable. When we leave, you receive care notes for sealants, filters, and finish maintenance so the work ages as it should.
If this service is only one piece of a larger plan, we will still coordinate adjacent rooms—paint colors, floor transitions, and trim profiles—so the home feels continuous rather than patched together.
