These Terms & Services (“Terms”) govern your use of lapuenterepair.com (the “Website”) and describe the general conditions under which La Puente Repair (“we”, “us”, or “our”) discusses, estimates, and performs home improvement and repair work. By browsing the Website, submitting a form, or asking us to visit a property, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Website and do not send project information.
Last updated: September 16, 2026. We may revise these Terms to reflect new services, materials, or operating practices. The date above will change when we publish an update. Continued use of the Website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
La Puente Repair is a home improvement and repair studio. We plan and complete work such as kitchen remodeling, bathroom renovation, interior and exterior painting, flooring and tile installation, roofing repair and replacement, millwork, and general household repairs. We may coordinate multiple trades on a single project so that carpentry, finishes, and building-envelope work follow one sequence. Nothing on the Website is an offer to perform licensed work that we are not authorized to perform; if a specialty trade must be engaged, we will say so in writing before that work begins.
The Website is an information and inquiry channel. Photographs, project stories, and descriptions illustrate the character of our work. They are not a catalog of guaranteed outcomes, fixed prices, or identical materials. Every home has different structure, moisture history, and finish conditions. Results depend on those conditions and on choices you approve.
You may view pages, download materials we expressly offer, and submit forms for your own household or property. You may not scrape the Website, copy substantial content for a competing service, introduce malware, attempt to probe our hosting environment, or use our brand, logo, or project photographs without written permission. Search tools on the Website are provided for convenience and may route you to related pages; they do not create a professional advice relationship by themselves.
All text, layout, logos, and original graphics on the Website belong to La Puente Repair or our licensors. Natural photographs used to illustrate rooms and craft are used under their applicable licenses. You may share links to our pages. You may not republish articles in full, present our portfolio as your own, or remove trademarks from our logo files.
Forms on the Website, including quote requests, newsletter sign-up, and unsubscribe requests, are client-side inquiry tools. Submitting a form does not create a construction contract, does not reserve a start date, and does not lock material pricing. After you submit complete information, a representative may contact you to clarify scope. Any estimate we later provide is based on the information you supplied and on visible conditions at the time of review.
A binding agreement exists only when both parties accept a written proposal that states scope, allowances, exclusions, payment rhythm, and approximate duration. Until that acceptance, either party may decline to proceed. Verbal comments during a walkthrough are planning notes, not change orders and not warranties.
Estimates assume reasonable access, existing structure that is sound unless we noted otherwise, and materials that remain available. If a specified product is discontinued, we will propose an equivalent and wait for your written approval before substituting.
Home improvement often reveals conditions that cannot be seen until finishes are opened: wet substrate, uneven joists, obsolete wiring, inadequate ventilation, or previous repairs that were cosmetic only. We will photograph unexpected conditions, explain the implication for durability, and wait for your instruction before expanding scope. Work performed outside the written proposal without a documented change may not be covered by our workmanship warranty.
You may request design or material changes. We will confirm cost and schedule impact in writing. Changes made after fabrication or special-order materials have begun may include restocking or fabrication costs that cannot be recovered. Delay in selecting finishes can delay later trades even if carpentry is complete, because paint, flooring, and fixtures must follow a logical order.
You agree to provide safe, timely access to the work areas and to utilities needed for the trade involved. Pets, children, and occupants should be kept clear of active work zones. We protect adjacent floors and furnishings in the immediate work area using reasonable industry methods. Protection is not a guarantee against all dust migration in an occupied house; we ask households to store fragile items and to keep bedroom doors closed when sanding or demolition occurs.
If access is repeatedly unavailable, if hazardous materials are discovered, or if the site is unsafe, we may pause work until conditions are resolved. Time lost for reasons outside our control is not a breach of these Terms.
You are responsible for disclosing known leaks, previous insurance claims related to the room, HOA or building rules that affect work hours or materials, and any neighborhood constraints. You are responsible for decisions about design, color, and product grade once options have been explained. If you supply materials, you accept the risk of defects, shortages, and finish variation in those materials, and you accept schedule impact if they arrive late or incomplete.
Payments, if agreed in a later proposal, must follow the schedule in that proposal. Work may pause if an installment that is due remains unpaid after notice. Title to unused materials we purchased remains with us until the related installment is received.
We warrant that labor we perform will be carried out in a workmanlike manner consistent with ordinary professional practice for the trade involved. Manufacturer warranties on appliances, membranes, paint, flooring, and fixtures remain with the manufacturer. Our workmanship warranty does not cover wear, misuse, lack of maintenance, standing water, movement of the building, or alterations by others after we leave the site.
Natural materials such as wood, stone, and some tiles vary in grain, shade, and porosity. Samples and photographs are indicative. Slight variation is not a defect. Hairline settlement cracks in paint at dissimilar materials can appear as a house continues to move; these are maintenance items unless they indicate a structural issue we were engaged to correct.
Warranty requests should be sent to info@lapuenterepair.com with photographs and a description of the room and the date of completion. We will inspect and, if the item is covered, repair or replace the affected workmanship. The warranty is not a maintenance contract and does not include seasonal cleaning, filter changes, or recaulking caused by ordinary use.
Unless you instruct us otherwise in writing before work begins, we may photograph completed rooms for our portfolio, Website, and educational articles, avoiding faces, personal documents, and identifying street numbers when practical. If you prefer that a project remain private, tell us at the inquiry stage. Photographs you send with a quote request may be used only to evaluate and discuss that request unless you later agree they may appear in a case study.
Articles about kitchens, bathrooms, paint, flooring, and maintenance are general education. They are not structural, legal, or environmental advice for your specific property. Moisture, structure, and finish failures can have causes that only an on-site review can identify. Do not rely on an article alone to open walls, alter ventilation, or select a roofing system.
External links, social profiles, and supplier names are provided for convenience. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, La Puente Repair is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses such as temporary housing, lost time, or aesthetic disappointment that is not a workmanship defect. Our aggregate liability related to Website use is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us (if any) in the three months before the claim or a nominal amount if you have paid nothing. For contracted field work, the limitation in the signed proposal controls if it differs from this paragraph.
We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components introduced by third parties. Forms are processed in your browser for validation; this static Website does not store submissions on a server operated by these pages.
You agree to indemnify La Puente Repair against claims arising from your misuse of the Website, your supply of inaccurate project information, your failure to disclose known hazards, or your publication of our materials in a way that infringes a third party’s rights.
Personal information submitted through forms is described in our Privacy Policy. Newsletter messages are optional. You may leave the list at any time through the Unsubscribe Email page. We will not treat an unsubscribe request as a cancellation of an active construction proposal unless you say so in the message.
We may suspend access to the Website, refuse an inquiry, or remove comments if we believe these Terms are being violated, if content is abusive, or if we must protect a household’s privacy. Surviving sections include intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnity, and any accrued payment obligations under a separate signed proposal.
These Terms are interpreted according to the laws applicable to the place where the services are performed or, for Website-only disputes, the laws applicable to our operations, without requiring a specific venue to be listed on this page. If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue. These Terms, together with a later signed proposal if one exists, are the entire understanding about Website use and general service conditions. They supersede informal messages that conflict with them, unless a signed proposal expressly amends a clause.
Questions about these Terms, a warranty item, or a project discussion may be sent to info@lapuenterepair.com. Please include the page you were viewing, the room involved, and any photographs that help us understand the question. A representative will review complete messages in the order they arrive.
